About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer - Mission Integration to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. This role involves developing and maintaining a mission activity database and related system mapping products to support integrated mission analysis. The engineer will build end-to-end mission and system mappings across multiple elements and interfaces, develop state-table-based system mapping products, and support the preparation of technical products for major integration reviews. The position requires translating engineering and operational concepts into structured, traceable analytical products, and potentially reverse engineering existing technical information. Coordination with program leads, analysts, and technical stakeholders is essential for refining product content and approach. The role involves receiving initial knowledge transfer and handoff support, then transitioning into growing ownership of the product, and working across subsystem interfaces to ensure accurate representation of mission activities and operational relationships. Support for a fast-paced development timeline with near-term product delivery expectations is also a key aspect of this position.
