About The Position

WOOD Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and forward‑thinking Systems Engineer Level 3 to help drive mission‑critical initiatives focused on developing, integrating, evaluating, and operationalizing cutting‑edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities within a complex government environment. In this role, you’ll collaborate with mission stakeholders, government leadership, and cross‑functional engineering teams to shape user‑centric standards, frameworks, and technical solutions that define how human‑in‑the‑loop and human‑on‑the‑loop AI systems are built and deployed. While prior experience supporting AI, Machine Learning (ML), or advanced analytics initiatives is not a mandatory requirement, we’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, adaptability, and a strong willingness to grow into this rapidly evolving area. If you thrive in environments where innovation meets mission impact, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and want to help influence how trusted AI capabilities accelerate national‑level missions, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a measurable difference. You’ll be part of the team ensuring that AI technologies remain trustworthy, operationally relevant, and aligned with real user needs—today and as the landscape continues to evolve.
