This position is with the historic Skunk Works in Palmdale, CA. We are looking for world-class talent for this position to join the 75+ year tradition of creating advanced aircraft. The candidate will have experience across the spectrum of systems engineering activities, ideally in a model-based environment. The candidate must be able to handle multiple and widely varying assignments simultaneously in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree
  • Experience in systems engineering or closely-related engineering discipline
  • Experience with requirements definition, tracking and/or verification
  • Must be a US Citizen, must have a minimum final Top Secret clearance within last five years with ability obtaining a SAR/SAP clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digital engineering or model-based engineering
  • Familiarity with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools
  • Experience in developing processes, procedures, and other complex formal technical documentation
  • Experience developing a system architecture (or familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Agile SAFe methodology
