About The Position

The candidate will join the Palm Beach Systems Engineering team in the development of undersea vehicles and systems including Remotely Operated Vehicles, Autonomous Undersea Vehicles, and Manned Submersibles. The position requires experience with industry standard practices in Systems Engineering, with activities including technical planning, system definition, requirements development, system design and risk & opportunity management for total systems solutions to undersea systems. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, use cases, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into lower level requirements including hardware and software specifications.

Requirements

Professional experience with SysML modeling language
BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Ocean, Systems or Electrical Engineering required
TS/SCI clearance is required for this position
Experience with ROV's at a systems level
Must be a US Citizen for consideration

Nice To Haves

MBSE tools including Cameo and DOORS are a plus
MS preferred
Undersea domain experience
