About The Position

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Systems Engineer to work 100% REMOTE. The candidate must have an active secret clearance. This role involves leading system development tasks, including design, integration, and formal testing, and overseeing all transitions into production. The Systems Engineer will develop system specifications, technical and logistical requirements, and create/maintain programmatic and technical documentation. They will manage and document system configurations, ensure hardware and software compatibility and performance, and supervise lower-level Systems Engineers. Additionally, the role may involve assisting with Business Development activities such as technical interviews, documentation creation, proposal writing, and proposal reviews.

Requirements

• Candidate must have an active secret clearance
• Bachelor's Degree with at least 15 years relevant experience; or a High School Diploma with at least 18 years of relevant experience or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 10 yrs of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work as a lead Systems Engineer
• Coordinates system development tasks to include design, integration and formal testing.
• Oversees all transitions into production.
• Develops and completes actions in system specifications, technical and logistical requirements and other disciplines.
• Creates and maintains programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution.
• Manages and documents system configurations.
• Ensures system hardware and software are compatible and capable of required performance metrics.
• Responsible for supervision of lower level Systems Engineers.
• Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
