About The Position

As a Systems Engineer at Proconex, you will be at the forefront of configuring and supporting our advanced information technology and operations technology (IT/OT) systems, with a focus on Emerson DeltaV distributed control systems. Requirements

A bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or any other technical discipline is required.
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate the advantages of our technology to customers are essential for success in this role.

Proficiency in Computer Operating Systems, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Networking, Switches, and Routers is highly desirable.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of industrial networks, including VLANs, switches, firewalls, and remote access solutions.
Capable of learning how to integrate automation systems with MES, LIMS, ERP, and data historian environments.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and industrial servers/workstations.
Desire to learn industrial communication protocols: OPC Classic/UA, Modbus TCP/IP, MQTT, Ethernet/IP.
Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks for industrial control systems (ISA/IEC 62443).
Capable of learning Emerson Syncade MES, OSIsoft PI, AspenTech, or Aveva solutions.
Knowledge of cloud integration (Azure IoT, AWS IoT) and edge computing for manufacturing data.
