The Impact You’ll Make in this Role In this role, you will help strengthen operational technology practices across global manufacturing sites by improving asset visibility, standardizing key OT processes, and supporting the rollout of consistent controls for removable media, configuration management, and backup and recovery. Your work will contribute directly to reducing operational risk, increasing system reliability, and advancing 3M’s journey toward fully mature and sustainable OT practices. Here, you will make an impact by: Leading efforts to improve OT practices and drive consistency across manufacturing sites Implementing processes and technical controls that enhance asset visibility, configuration management, and removable media handling Determining requirements, standards, and procedures that strengthen OT system reliability and reduce operational risk Supporting sites and partners with guidance, troubleshooting, and coordination during deployments and ongoing operations Confirming your willingness to participate helping 3M manufacturing be successful and secure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) OR Associate's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and Ten (10) years of engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment AND
• Current, valid Driver’s License
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
• Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
• U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain "non-U.S. persons" (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, "Temporary Residents" (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum.
