About The Position

This internship offers an opportunity to combine technical skills with big-picture thinking to make an impact in global defense. The intern will maintain systems, develop skills in software engineering, and gain mentoring and experience in global defense. The role involves translating real-world needs into technical specifications to deliver customer-focused engineering solutions, turning requirements into accomplishments that drive change.

Requirements

Experience implementing and maintaining software programs
Experience with software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
Experience creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative, cross-functional team
Ability to learn new languages and frameworks
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree by Spring or Summer 2028

Nice To Haves

Experience with JavaScript, SQL, React, NodeJS, Python, Server-Side Development, Middleware, Application or Data Integration, API Development, Core Application Systems, Node.js, Spring Cloud, Spring Core, Spring-Boot, or Spring Data
Experience writing source code for new applications, or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
