About The Position

AV is looking for a highly talented Systems Engineer III to join our team! In this role you will support the MDA Chief Engineer (MDA/CE) in transforming the way in which the agency approaches engineering. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and is interested in utilizing those tools to help move the agency away from document-driven engineering.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field
7+ years of experience
Active Secret clearance
Strong MBSE experience
Ability to excel in a team setting
Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains

Nice To Haves

Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.).
MDA Experience.
Expertise in command and control (C2), data transport, Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT), or interoperability.
This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR. Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts.
Leverage your skills with a variety of MBSE tools.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on models.
