About The Position

The Systems Engineer III designs, develops, supports, and maintains the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software. Makes updates to system related installation documentation. Performs end-user support. Analyzes, develops, modifies, tests and maintains the system. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience.
  • The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Systems of Systems Engineering (SoSE) and Product-Line Engineering (PLE) principles to ensure virtual logistics trainers are interoperable across the PM Force Projection portfolio.
  • Manage the development of Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs).
  • Perform requirements analysis for virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and cloud-based training solutions.
  • Support the Information Assurance (IA) team in navigating the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to ensure all virtual platforms maintain a valid Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Conduct oversight of contractor-performed testing, including Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), to ensure "as-built" systems meet Government specifications.
