About The Position

Mercury Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer to assist in the development of the next-generation of Mercury’s industry-leading edge processing solutions. In this role, you will be supporting Mixed Signal and Electronic Warfare product lines, RF Systems, embedded systems, and Space programs. You’ll be working in a matrix organization on multi-disciplined engineering teams while collaborating with program management, operations, and our leadership to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Science degree or higher in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline.
  • Typically requires 4 + years of Systems Engineering experience with requirements, integration, verification and validation.
  • Experience with RF and Mixed Signal, ADC and DAC, heterogenous (FPGA and SoC) processing applications.
  • Ability to travel, up to 20% of the time.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a government security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. government to access information subject to U.S. export regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) at time of application.
  • Design experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with high-performance RF and digital processing solutions as applied to radar and Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Applied experience with Model Based Systems Engineering, with Cameo Enterprise Architect and SysML modeling.
  • Experience with Jama, Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Mixed Signal and Electronic Warfare product lines, RF Systems, embedded systems, and Space programs.
  • Working in a matrix organization on multi-disciplined engineering teams.
  • Collaborating with program management, operations, and leadership to meet customer needs.
  • Executing System Engineering activities such as translating stakeholder needs in the form of operational concept development, functional/physical architecture definition, requirements development, interface definition, verification and validation, technical baseline management, and transition to production.
  • Executing Systems Engineering as part of an IPT throughout the complete program lifecycle.
