This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As a systems engineer with established expertise across the full SE development lifecycle, you will own subsystem requirements for electrical systems on New Glenn's launch pad infrastructure. You will deeply understand and communicate the impacts of design and verification decisions, driving cross-functional resolution from specification through verification. This role requires close collaboration with EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) and DSCE (Data Systems and Controls Engineering) designers, supporting CONOPS development and building strong working relationships with the engineers and operators who design, build, and test these systems. EGSE and DSCE fall within the "C3" discipline - Command, Communication and Controls. You'll interface regularly with New Glenn Systems Engineering, the Launch Ops Architecture team, and participate in gated design reviews. We're looking for someone whose core strength is electrical systems, who also brings enough breadth in adjacent disciplines (controls, software, structures, fluids) to understand how electrical subsystems interact with the rest of the vehicle/pad ecosystem.
