About The Position

As a Systems Engineer, you’ll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving is essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and writing system specifications. You’ll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, you’ll identify and mitigate risks, confirming that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Basic familiarity with the installation and integration of semiconductor equipment, including Etch, Metal Deposition, Dielectric, and CMP systems
  • Experience in business process flow development and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, including verbal communication, email, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Perform engineering analysis, including process design, time and motion studies, and recommend facility and process improvements
  • Participate in and/or lead Industrial Engineering (I.E.) projects and programs, supporting implementation with quality tools, processes, and success metrics
  • Conduct process evaluations and recommend improvements to tool and component installation and modification activities
  • Develop and lead lab facility design initiatives, including plant layout, tool installation, tool modifications, and Business Unit lab projects
  • Support new product introductions by delivering PLC/ePLC outputs, including lab flow design, new process development, and deployment
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe behavior and adherence to protocols, procedures, and core company values
  • Calculate and maintain capacity models for lab operations (people, space, equipment) and support efficient utilization of lab resources and utilities
  • Provide guidance to lab logistics on effective and efficient use of facility infrastructure and utilities
  • Recommend and establish standards and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility
