About The Position

The Integrated Flight team is seeking a Systems Engineer II to work with Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems integrated into business and regional jets. The role is based onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The engineer will grow their knowledge of Systems Engineering and Flight Management Systems while contributing to a dynamic team that delivers quality products on time to internal and external customers.

Requirements

Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
At least 2 years of experience with C, C++, DOORS, ADA, and/or Python.
At least 2 years of experience in a Systems role.

Nice To Haves

Industry experience in software lifecycle development, including design, requirements, integration, and test.
Pilot or avionics experience, such as private piloting, aircraft maintenance, or DO-178 certification.

Responsibilities

Work with Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems integrated into business and regional jets.
Grow knowledge of Systems Engineering and Flight Management Systems.
Use leadership, communication, coordination, and proactiveness to help deliver quality and timely products to internal and external customers.
