Requirements
- 0+ years of experience with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related Science, obtained by start date
- Experience with the Sentinel Radar.
- Previous experience with agile team participation and engineering tools Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with system requirements and test
- Experience using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Active and existing security clearance required on day 1
Nice To Haves
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
- Experience with radar design, modeling/simulation, hardware/software integration, test and verification
- Experience using UNIX/Linux based workstations
- Course work or experience in some of the following fields: radar, signal & image processing, radar and/or EO/IR environment models, digital communications, probability and statistics, linear algebra, estimation theory, optimal control, system architecture
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and implementation of radar requirements
- Create high fidelity simulations and models for radar design, performance assessment, and flight test support
- Responsible for the development and implementation of modeling solutions, and subsequently conduct trade studies and evaluation of system and subsystem performance
- Work in a team environment, receiving inputs from the team supervisors and providing guidance and/or direction to other team members
- Support hands-on operational Integration and Test at the Fullerton Test Site
- Support flight tests and analyze collected data to evaluate radar performance
- Support CONUS and OCONUS radar system sell-off to the customer
