This position is for an early-career system engineer who can work in, and grow to lead, a multi-disciplinary team to develop, maintain, verify and communicate the architecture and requirements baseline for a mission that includes Segment, Element (payload, spacecraft bus, and/or Subsystems). You will work within your program teams alongside specialty engineers through the program life cycle to develop, and manage requirements for, different levels for various complex, high precision, and high-reliability applications. You’ll work alongside our teams of design engineers, AI&T engineers, and senior leadership as your program moves through AI&T and milestone gate reviews to ensure our programs meet the customer needs in technical requirements, schedule, and cost. The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers’ missions.
