About The Position

The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer I to plan and execute complex integration and verification test events. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in system integration and testing. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge missile defense technologies in a collaborative and innovative environment. This is an onsite entry level role located in Andover, Tewksbury, Woburn, Marlborough MA or Pelham, NH.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
  • Experience with systems requirements, systems integration, systems test, systems software, and/or systems hardware.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong undergraduate level understanding of electrical, mechanical and/or software system integration, familiarity with C/C++/C# preferred
  • Experience with or exposure to various military platforms such as ships, ground combat systems, fixed and rotary wing aircraft
  • Experience with tools, such as MATLAB or Python scripting, for instrumentation and collection of large data sets, data analysis and automation
  • Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols
  • Majors: Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in the Defense Industry specifically with military systems and procedures.
  • Understanding of the Systems Engineering Product Cycle.
  • Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field supporting integration and/or verification.
  • Experience in developing and managing system requirements.
