About The Position

The Systems Engineer within the Systems Excellence Department contributes through all phases of the product development lifecycle (i.e. systems and software requirements, system architecture and design, software integration and test, simulation and test, integration and test, verification and sell-off), within an interdisciplinary process that ensures the customer and warfighters needs are satisfied through every stage. This commitment to excellence can sometimes include opportunities for travel, and flexible hours/shifts to ensure programmatic milestones are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position.​ The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
  • Displays experience in any of the scripting languages, like Python, Perl.
  • Strong interest in the aerospace industry and related fields
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a collaborative integrated product team and support the design, integration, verification and validation of avionics CNS products.
  • Actively work in the full product development life-cycle activities and gain hands-on experience in requirements management, systems architecture, test planning and data analysis.
  • Assist in documentation of engineering work in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
