About The Position

As a Systems Engineer I in SNC’s ISR, Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area, you will apply foundational skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, Verification & Validation (V&V), and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Under supervision, you will assist with system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management, and contribute to project tasks involving architecture and design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management. The role calls for effective communication and collaboration, along with eagerness to learn and grow in the field. IAS is a prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end C4ISR capabilities include design, integration, test, certification, ground and flight training, and logistics support. IAS develops solutions tailored to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements. This position is restricted to SNC Summer 2026 interns. It requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. The work is in a hybrid environment with occasional travel. Essential functions include working at a computer for extended periods and using hand and finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation.
