About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) portfolio for a Systems Engineer supporting the F-35 program. On our development Engineering team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Systems, or other related field
  • Experience developing system requirements, interfaces, and architectures, preferably using MBSE tools and techniques
  • Experience performing systems integration
  • This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and has the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform under general supervision to complete milestones associated with specific projects.
  • Support risk assessments and risk mitigation plans, including balancing technical risks between systems.
  • Manage key aspects of the technical implementation of the program, by collaborating across a number of disciplines to ensure that technical parameters, interfaces, and assumptions are consistent across disciplines, and interfacing with stakeholders (e.g., engineering, technical staff, client) to ensure program goals are met.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration opportunities to ensure best practices and domain knowledge are shared.
  • Perform hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Support and provide guidance on operations and maintenance, including definition and communication of complete test, integration, and checkout plans for new capabilities.
  • Work continuously and cross-functionally to analyze, test and iterate technical requirements, user stories and operations concepts.
  • Provide technical direction and clarification of requirements within the DevSecOps team.
  • May support and lead engineering proposal efforts.
  • May require increased on-site presence in secondary LM location in support of classified program activities.
