About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) portfolio for a Systems Engineer supporting the F-35 program. On our development Engineering team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Systems, or other related field
Experience developing system requirements, interfaces, and architectures, preferably using MBSE tools and techniques
Experience performing systems integration
This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and has the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform under general supervision to complete milestones associated with specific projects.
Support risk assessments and risk mitigation plans, including balancing technical risks between systems.
Manage key aspects of the technical implementation of the program, by collaborating across a number of disciplines to ensure that technical parameters, interfaces, and assumptions are consistent across disciplines, and interfacing with stakeholders (e.g., engineering, technical staff, client) to ensure program goals are met.
Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration opportunities to ensure best practices and domain knowledge are shared.
Perform hardware/software troubleshooting.
Support and provide guidance on operations and maintenance, including definition and communication of complete test, integration, and checkout plans for new capabilities.
Work continuously and cross-functionally to analyze, test and iterate technical requirements, user stories and operations concepts.
Provide technical direction and clarification of requirements within the DevSecOps team.
May support and lead engineering proposal efforts.
May require increased on-site presence in secondary LM location in support of classified program activities.
