Requirements

  • 3–8 years of professional experience.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on software development experience involving deployment and database ownership.
  • Working knowledge of web applications, Windows Server, Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and relational databases.
  • Experience with Git and at least one CI/CD platform.
  • PowerShell and/or Python scripting ability.
  • REST API integration experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting methodology.
  • Security-first mindset.
  • Excellent written English communication.
  • Comfortable learning unfamiliar technologies independently.

Nice To Haves

  • VMware or Hyper-V administration.
  • Enterprise backup platforms and restore experience.
  • Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration.
  • Next-generation firewall administration.
  • AWS and/or Azure experience.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep).
  • Monitoring and observability tooling.
  • Experience modernizing undocumented production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Refactor source control repositories into structured Development, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release approvals, and rollback procedures.
  • Plan and execute production deployments and coordinated infrastructure changes.
  • Administer Windows Server, Ubuntu Linux, VMware environments, storage platforms, backups, and restore verification.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking including firewalls, VPNs, routing, VLANs, DNS, certificates, and reverse proxies.
  • Support Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and identity management.
  • Work with SQL Server and PostgreSQL to support deployments, schema changes, integrations, reporting, and ETL workloads.
  • Extend internal automation tools using Python and PowerShell while producing high-quality documentation and operational runbooks.
  • Evaluate AI-assisted code and deployment changes before production release.
