About The Position

At Intelliforce, systems engineers sit at the center of mission success. In this role, you’ll help design, integrate, and sustain complex enterprise systems that directly support high-priority national security programs. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with engineers, program leadership, and stakeholders to ensure technical architectures stay resilient, scalable, and aligned with mission goals. This is hands-on, high-visibility work where your contributions move programs forward and keep critical systems operating with confidence. Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years of systems engineering experience
  • Four additional years of relevant systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Practical experience applying systems engineering principles across the full system development lifecycle
  • Experience contributing to system or IT architecture design efforts
  • Knowledge of network profiling, fingerprinting, and security fundamentals
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage technical priorities and milestones
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership or technical lead experience
  • Experience with web hosting or monitoring solutions
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda
  • Exposure to containerization technologies including Docker
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments
  • Relevant professional certifications

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the architectural design and integration of complex, enterprise-scale systems
  • Developing and maintaining system documentation including specifications, design artifacts, and test plans
  • Tracking technical tasks, milestones, and dependencies to keep engineering efforts aligned and on schedule
  • Supporting strategic initiatives tied to infrastructure modernization and automation
  • Serving as a technical liaison between engineering teams and program management
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate mission needs into actionable technical outcomes
