About The Position

Make an Impact Where it Matters Most At Intelliforce, you support missions where software quality, speed, and reliability matter. As a Software Engineer, you contribute to production systems used in high-impact operational environments. You work alongside experienced engineers, learning by doing while helping deliver software solutions that operate across on-premise enclaves and AWS cloud environments. This role builds strong engineering fundamentals while supporting national security missions from day one. Requirements

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus 2 years of software engineering experience OR 4 years of software engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Experience working in Linux environments using command-line tools.
  • Experience writing Bash and Python scripts to automate manual processes.
  • Software development experience using languages such as C, C++, and Java.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
  • Experience using Git for source control.
  • Exposure to Agile development practices and collaborative engineering workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with modern web frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, or containerd.
  • Experience using the Atlassian tool suite including Jira and Confluence.
  • Exposure to AWS cloud services and cloud-hosted application deployments.

Responsibilities

  • You support the development, testing, and deployment of production-ready software features.
  • You help debug and enhance existing applications, automate manual processes, and participate in Agile development activities.
  • You collaborate with teammates to integrate software into operational environments, contribute to documentation, and follow established CI/CD workflows.
  • You gain exposure to both on-prem and cloud-based systems while strengthening core software engineering skills.
