About The Position

At Intelliforce, you support missions where software quality, speed, and reliability matter. As a Software Engineer, you contribute to production systems used in high-impact operational environments. You work alongside experienced engineers, learning by doing while helping deliver software solutions that operate across on-premise enclaves and AWS cloud environments. This role builds strong engineering fundamentals while supporting national security missions from day one. Schedule and Work Details Location: OPS 2A Schedule: On-site in a secure facility Telework: Not available Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include You support the development, testing, and deployment of production-ready software features. You help debug and enhance existing applications, automate manual processes, and participate in Agile development activities. You collaborate with teammates to integrate software into operational environments, contribute to documentation, and follow established CI/CD workflows. You gain exposure to both on-prem and cloud-based systems while strengthening core software engineering skills.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus 2 years of software engineering experience OR 4 years of software engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Experience working in Linux environments using command-line tools.
  • Experience writing Bash and Python scripts to automate manual processes.
  • Software development experience using languages such as C, C++, and Java.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
  • Experience using Git for source control.
  • Exposure to Agile development practices and collaborative engineering workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with modern web frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, or containerd.
  • Experience using the Atlassian tool suite including Jira and Confluence.
  • Exposure to AWS cloud services and cloud-hosted application deployments.
