About The Position

At Intelliforce, you build mission software with teams who move fast, communicate clearly, and own outcomes. In this role, you will engineer reliable data workflows that help teams turn complex data into usable results. You will focus on production-ready automation, strong observability, and clean orchestration patterns. Schedule and Work Details Location: NBP 135 Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift Telework: Up to 16 hours per week Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required). Requirements

• Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required).
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Education and Experience This role aligns to Software Engineer (SWE), Level 2. Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related) plus 3 years of SWE experience. Or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) plus 5 years of SWE experience. Or 7 years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Linux CLI experience and strong comfort with Linux tools
• Bash scripting to automate manual processes
• Recent Python and Java development experience
• Apache Airflow experience, DAG design, scheduling, operators, sensors
• Distributed processing experience with Apache Spark
• Container experience with Docker, Podman, or containerd
• Git source control experience

Nice To Haves

• Atlassian tools experience, Jira and Confluence
• AWS cloud services and infrastructure familiarity

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Apache Airflow DAGs for data pipelines and automation.
• Partner with data engineers and platform teams to design scalable workflow patterns.
• Harden workflows for reliability, retries, and clear operational visibility.
• Automate repetitive tasks with Bash and Python.
• Support containerized execution and deployments across Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot workflow failures, performance issues, and upstream dependencies.
• Document pipelines and operating procedures so teams move faster.
