About The Position

The Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to design, integrate/test and conduct data analysis to assess system performance of the Command, Control and Communications (C3) systems. The C3 systems perform multiple critical functions such as radar and sensor management, track filtering, track management including correlation/association, control of multiple communication links, threat evaluation and prioritization, and command of weapon systems for target engagement or assignment. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of systems engineering principles, algorithm development, and data analysis to troubleshoot and evaluate. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and will require a U. S. DoD security clearance.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering or STEM field with minimum of 2 years' professional experience OR minimum of 4 years' Military related experience in lieu of Degree.
  • Experience performing system and data analysis
  • Functional knowledge of combat systems
  • Understanding of technical process for testing complex software systems
  • Ability to apply MATLAB, or Python as analytical tools for evaluation, modeling, simulation, and/or prototyping.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Command and Control systems development experience including algorithms, software, and data analysis
  • Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in the defense industry or related field
  • Strong Systems Engineering Background
