Systems Engineer

Intelliforce-IT Solutions GroupColumbia, MD

About The Position

At Intelliforce, we do not modernize for the sake of modernization. We build environments that help mission teams move faster, collaborate better, and stay ready for what is next. In this role, you will help architect the move from a patchwork legacy environment to a modern cloud-native backbone that supports AI-enabled development, FVEY collaboration, and the next generation of CNO development, all while the mission keeps running. This is a rare chance to shape the future of a critical development environment from the ground up. This role gives you real influence over how cloud adoption happens in a high-consequence mission space. You will define the technical roadmap, build reusable cloud patterns, assess aging infrastructure, and design practical migration paths that improve performance without disrupting operations. The work is strategic and hands-on. You will partner with mission stakeholders, cloud professional services, and technical leadership to solve real problems, from large-scale storage and system integration to unified SSO and better developer workflows. At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your recommendations carry weight. Because we support prime programs, our teams stay close to meaningful mission work with real momentum. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong technical leadership gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this becomes more than another cloud role. It is a chance to help make CNO one of the best software development environments in the agency.
