Systems Engineer (Associate or Experienced) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join our team and make an immediate impact on both urgent and long-term fleet support in Seal Beach, CA. Primary Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding ICA-related matters, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or questions. (i.e., Reg Admin, Design Engineering, Aircraft Level Integration Team, Organization Designation Authorization Members, Engineering Unit Members, FAA Airplane Evaluation Division/Regulators). Develop and manage project plans for the creation and maintenance of ICA documents, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards. Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and other departments to gather necessary information and ensure that ICA documents are comprehensive and accurate. Ensure that all ICA documents meet the requirements set forth by aviation regulatory bodies, such as the FAA or EASA, and stay updated on any changes in regulations. Oversee the creation, review, and approval processes for ICA documents, ensuring that they are properly formatted, accurate, up-to-date, accessible, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Identify potential risks associated with ICA projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Provide training and support to internal teams and external stakeholders on the use and interpretation of ICA documents. Implement processes for the continuous improvement of ICA documentation and project management practices, incorporating feedback from users and stakeholders. Manage project resources effectively to ensure that ICA projects are completed on time. Understand the key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ICA to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of ICA processes and projects. Help facilitate the continuous improvement and accountability, and overall success of the organization. ICA Coordinator General Duties: Package ICA data, summarize certification plans, submit data to FAA. Be an integral part of supporting all Boeing Commercial Airplane models in-service and under development, including programs such as 747, 767, 777, 787, 737NG, 737 MAX, 777X, and the next generation of commercial airplanes. Evaluate, coordinate, implement and ensure engineering design and retrofit changes meet operational and functional requirements in support of customer expectations and overall program objectives. Research and provide technical information used to develop and maintain maintenance documentation. Perform Cross-functional technical integration in support of resolving complex issues to help return airplanes into service. Enact Cross-functional integration and technical project management in support of delivery and production stream sustainability. Assist with detailed investigations to ensure system integration, compliance with requirements and to preclude safety issues. Assist in the development and enhancement of in-house tools to enable efficient performance of engineering tasks.
