About The Position

As a Model-Based Systems Engineer for Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing and maintaining operational, functional, and physical system architectures using MBSE methodologies and frameworks for our strategic deterrent systems. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Systems and Test Engineering experience.
• Requirements Management experience.
• Agile Development experience.
• Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including direct hands-on experience with industry-leading MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain SysML models, including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams.
• Experience applying MBSE to architect complex systems, including functional decomposition, interface definition, and trade study analysis.
• Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards with an MBSE-first mindset.
• Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, DOORS Next Generation) and their integration with system models.
• Experience working within DoDAF or similar architecture frameworks to support digital engineering initiatives.
