About The Position

Lentech, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer 5 to apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. The role involves interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts. The Systems Engineer will communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. This position is responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, including Technical Process Areas, Project Process Areas, Enterprise Process Areas, and Agreement Process Areas. Responsibilities also include supporting acquisition lifecycle management functions, such as milestone documentation creation and review, architectural review activities (including security documents), and supporting CCB and ERB review boards.

Requirements

  • Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
  • Depending on degree 13-19 YOE
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general system engineering experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.

  • Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
  • Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
  • Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.
  • Support acquisition lifecycle management functions, including milestone documentation creation and review, architectural review activities (including security documents), and support CCB and ERB review boards.
