About The Position

SageCor Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 4 to provide systems engineering expertise in support of work involving SAFe Solution Train-level practices, Agile Release Train operations, requirements and configuration management, and coordination across organizations. The role calls for an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and substantial systems engineering experience, with education and experience requirements varying by degree level.

The position requires deep knowledge of SAFe, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevSecOps, along with the ability to facilitate large and diverse groups, coach teams, influence without authority, resolve conflicts, and coordinate multiple activities and stakeholder groups. The engineer will communicate effectively with technical and executive audiences.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• One of the following education and experience combinations: High School Diploma or GED plus 14 years of general systems engineering experience; a bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus 10 years of systems engineering experience; a master's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus 8 years of systems engineering experience; or a PhD in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus 8 years of systems engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of SAFe principles, practices, and competencies at the Solution Train level.
• Expert knowledge of Agile Release Train operations and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevSecOps practices.
• Understanding of Lean Portfolio Management and Value Stream concepts.
• Knowledge of system requirements management, interface control, and configuration management.
• Experience with requirements traceability, verification, and validation approaches.
• Proficiency with configuration management and version control systems.
• Experience with collaboration tools for distributed teams, such as MS Teams, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as MS Project and Primavera.
• Exceptional facilitation skills for large, diverse audiences across multiple organizations.
• A servant leadership mindset with demonstrated coaching ability.
• Ability to lead without authority and influence across organizational boundaries.
• Experience facilitating consensus-building and conflict resolution in complex environments.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple concurrent activities and stakeholder groups.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
