About The Position

The Systems Educator II delivers training and development programs to all levels of end users, to enable them to effectively use the information technology tools and applications required to perform their jobs. This position partners with end users and application groups to analyze training needs, design documentation, and deliver multi-modal education to support Franciscan Alliance. The Educator delivers training to a variety of audiences, understanding and applying adult learning principles. This role collaborates with the education team to evaluate knowledge levels of learners with the ability to develop and recommend targeted training and testing, as required. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years Relevant Work Experience
  • Instructor Application Credentialing - . or as organizational needs dictate
  • EPIC Certified or Accredited - EPIC or as organizational needs dictate

Responsibilities

  • Delivers classroom instruction to a variety of audiences, understanding and applying adult learning principles.
  • Creates materials to provide on-the-job assistance, support self-paced or instructor-led learning including but not limited to student workbooks, instructor manuals, and course exercises.
  • Performs learner, goal and task analysis in order to define appropriate training solutions and identify any non-training issues.
  • Collaborates with other Franciscan Educators to make suggestions, test and update curriculum/training materials or assist with creating a new curriculum.
  • Contributes to the development of tools that measure and record the student’s mastery of learning objectives using industry standard development principles.
  • Works with the training staff and end users to evaluate the overall effectiveness of curriculum/educational materials in the training environments and act on recommendations for improvements.
  • Conducts analysis and uses industry-standard practices to create a concept for layout and presentation of information in a way that takes into consideration users specific needs and mental paths.
