Systems Development Engineer, Amazon Robotics Business Applications and Solutions Engineering
About The Position
The Amazon Robotics (AR) organization manufactures high-quality robotics and gets the right materials to the right place at the right time to enable our automated solutions. It’s fast-paced and works cross-functionally with teams across Amazon globally. We are seeking a talented and motivated ERP Order Management & Logistics Systems Development Engineer with a proven track record of implementing best in class Systematic and business processes within a complex Supply Chain environment. This role will report to the manager of Business Application in the Robotics Software Services and technology team. This position will primarily focus on supporting applications in the Order Management and supply chain area. This role will work closely with manufacturing, supply chain management, Finance, engineering and other IT organizations. You will also play a key role in leveraging AI in the ERP eco-system.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience in SQL Server/MySQL, or experience in software development and experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby and/or PHP)
- Experience with ERP and procurement tools, including Oracle, Coupa and Ariba
- Experience in business-process design
- Experience designing business processes
- Experience debugging and systems analysis to identify and quickly resolve or mitigate issues
- Experience in deploying identity and access management systems, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience communicating clearly and effectively with different functional groups including senior business leaders, finance, HR and developers
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Experience implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA
