About The Position

The Systems Developer will work on a web-based system used by applicants to submit applications for operating child care programs in New York State. The role involves working with a development team to build the Facility Application Management system in ASP.NET MVC, coordinating with a Business Analyst on analysis and logical design, and supporting testing, coding, and data requests. The developer will work under the direction of a Technical Lead, Project Manager, and Software Architect.

This is a 24-month contract. The work model is 50% telecommuting and 50% in-office per week in Albany, New York. Interviews are virtual.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 60 months of experience utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services.
• 36 months of experience utilizing JQuery.
• 84 months of experience developing N-Tier .NET web applications.
• 72 months of experience with PL/SQL writing packages, stored procedures, and triggers.
• 60 months of experience utilizing Model View Controller (MVC).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with a team of developers to write the new Facility Application Management system in ASP.NET MVC.
• Work with a Business Analyst on analysis and logical design.
• Perform unit testing and correct identified bugs.
• Perform VB.NET coding.
• Assist with responding to CCFS data requests.
• Write stored procedures and triggers in an Oracle database using PL/SQL.
