About The Position
The Systems Designer I position is an entry level Designer position, responsible for learning and performing basic low voltage systems design related tasks under the direct guidance of upper level Design/ Engineering staff, as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Director or Vice President.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of Low Voltage Systems installation experience, and general background and/or interest in learning and applying Low Voltage systems design principles
- Associates Degree in Electrical Technology
- 2 years of Low Voltage Systems installation experience, and general background and/or interest in learning and applying Low Voltage systems design principles
- BICSII technician or NICET Level I certified, combined with demonstrated design aptitude preferred

Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, assists in the preparation of designs for low voltage specialty system installations.
- Interacts with support staff on a daily basis.
- Checks drawings against design input for accuracy.
- Consistently follows Faith Technologies established design standards.
- Actively participates in continued education efforts.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
