Requirements

• Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and simple diagrams
• Proficient in advanced 2D and 3D drafting, utilizing Autodesk products: AutoCAD, Architecture, Inventor with Factory Design Utilities, Navisworks Manage and Docs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Engineering
• SolidWorks experience is optional.

Responsibilities

• Developing 2D and 3D drawings and sheet sets to meet feasibility study requirements.
• Developing the project estimate and schedule to prepare the study for funding approval.
• Communicating cross-functionally to gain support for projects and drive schedule compliance.
• Interfacing and collaborating with material-handling vendors, conveyor manufacturers, electrical control manufacturers and consultants to ensure compliance with UPS standards, and safety regulations.
• Incorporating the latest engineering technologies to deliver the most efficient and cost-effective solutions in the material-handling industry.
