About The Position

As a Systems Control Technician, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment. This role works the 3rd shift (Sunday – Thursday; 9:00pm – 5:30am) and includes starting pay of $48.91/hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Training occurs on 1st shift (Monday – Friday; 5:00am – 1:30pm) for an estimated training period of 3 months – 1 year.

Requirements

Possess a two (2) year technical degree in a mechanical, electrical, or electronics field
Possess two (2) years of mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance experience

Ability to work 3rd Shift (Sunday – Thursday; 9:00pm – 5:30am)
Three (3) or more years of mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance experience, with an emphasis on Process Instrumentation and Control Systems.
Possess the knowledge and skillsets required to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical industrial equipment and devices.
Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Teams, and SAP
Ability to maintain the required quality and quantity of personal hand tools as listed by plant management.

Responsibilities

Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting plant equipment, electrical systems, and automation control systems.
Maintaining and troubleshooting Fanuc robots, Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, power distribution systems, and other automated manufacturing equipment.
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, PLC logic, instrumentation diagrams, single-line drawings, and other technical documentation to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
Performing preventive maintenance, calibration, and system testing to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment.
Loading, modifying, and supporting control system programs while maintaining equipment data, technical records, and system documentation.
Collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Facilities teams to support equipment installations, automation improvements, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety requirements.
Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
