Here, you will make an impact by: Possessing a thorough background in Allen-Bradley controls systems and hardware and proficiency in Motion Control Servo’s including Kinetix Drives and Servo Motors Leading controls aspects of capital projects with Division Engineering partners Leading strategic improvement initiatives for the department by utilizing a working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming, working knowledge of Network Architecture, robotics, servo motion control, variable frequency drives (VFD), data historians, control and process valves Support Rockwell FactoryTalk Historian, Asset Centre, Manage Servers and other Upper-Level Systems as needed Supporting Systems Technicians with tactical projects and growth Driving continuous improvement activities for the plant

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing technical role in a private, public, government or military environment
Current, valid Driver’s License.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of ethernet IP protocols, IP addressing & subnets, AD (Group Policy) credentials for server configuration, MODBUS, familiarity with scripting and automation (VB scripting and SQL)
Demonstrated track record of performance in process improvement
Demonstrated project leadership skills and demonstrated ability to define and achieve goals
Ability to work with a cross functional team in the manufacturing organization

Responsibilities

Possessing a thorough background in Allen-Bradley controls systems and hardware and proficiency in Motion Control Servo’s including Kinetix Drives and Servo Motors
