Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 5+ years experience in System Engineering, Integration & Test activities and execution of complex systems
  • 2+ years experience with Systems Architecture & Analysis process
  • Experience with systems integration and engineering lifecycle on Space programs
  • Experience leading and coordinating teams across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people, products, and processes
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Systems Architect
  • 8+ years experience in System Engineering, Integration & Test activities
  • Experience with coordinating architecture and analysis trades and products across Integrated Product Teams
  • Experienced with Model Based Systems Engineering or CAMEO
  • Experience with or exposure to Earned Value Management and Cost Account Management
  • Experience with or exposure to Modeling & Simulation
  • Experience with or exposure to Space Debris and Disposal
  • Experience with or exposure to Spectrum Supportability
  • Experience with or exposure to Fault Management or Anomaly Detection & resolution
  • Experience with RF or digital communications Payload Systems engineering
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to an audience with varied technical backgrounds
  • Experience with customer facing reviews: SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to deliver System Architecture & Analysis products in compliance with the SOW
  • Implement earned value management and perform cost account management
  • Perform cross-program coordination to perform modeling & simulation
  • Ensure development of system analysis artifacts for software and payload digital model, capacity model, verification and validation
  • Review MBSE team deliverables including space segment design description, opscon, and trade studies
  • Coordinate and review artifacts for fault management and anomaly detection, space debris and disposal, and spectrum supportability
  • Coordinate with Cybersecurity engineering to ensure consistent program deliverables and architecture solution
  • Ensure global, consistent and standardized SE products aligned with product centers
