Peraton requires Systems Architects to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. Position is located Camp Smith, HI. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. The Network Architect performs Tier four network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD and requires an extensive background in networking technology. The Network Architect must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. This position requires a strong background in the design and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), as well as an excellent working knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols (e.g.,Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and Multiprotocol Labeling Switching (MPLS)). The Network Architect shall comprehensively review existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required. This position shall troubleshoot the enterprise voice, video, cloud, and data networks and evaluate the impact of architectural changes on the network. The Network Architect shall follow designated network standards for the design, installation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN infrastructures, voice and data network systems, and advanced engineering. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Design and architect enterprise-level solutions for Modern Workspace environments, ensuring integration with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and other relevant technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and translate them into scalable and secure solutions. Lead the design and implementation of Intune-based device management solutions, ensuring alignment with client security, compliance, and user experience goals. Conduct assessments of current IT infrastructures and create roadmaps for modernizing desktop environments, transitioning to cloud-based solutions. Develop and document architecture strategies, deployment plans, and best practices for supporting Microsoft-based workspaces, including provisioning, security, and compliance management. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and other technical staff, ensuring high-quality delivery of architecture services. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, Microsoft technologies, and best practices related to Modern Workspace, end-user-computing, and Intune. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system integration, deployment, and management of modern workspace solutions. Collaborate with operational teams to provide ongoing support for Microsoft Intune, including updates, troubleshooting, and optimization.
