About The Position
This role requires a Systems Architect with a Top Secret clearance to support systems architecture, enterprise engineering, and systems integration efforts within DoD, IC, or Federal environments. The position involves leveraging strong knowledge of systems engineering methodologies, enterprise architecture principles, and distributed systems design. Experience with cloud technologies, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity integration, and enterprise IT systems is crucial. The architect will be involved in all phases of the systems lifecycle, including requirements management, verification, validation, and operational sustainment. Developing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and engineering analyses is a key part of the role. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and digital engineering concepts is also expected.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience supporting systems architecture, enterprise engineering, or systems integration efforts within DoD, IC, or Federal environments
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering methodologies, enterprise architecture principles, and distributed systems design
- Experience supporting cloud technologies, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity integration, and enterprise IT systems
- Familiarity with systems lifecycle processes including requirements management, verification, validation, and operational sustainment
- Experience developing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and engineering analyses
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and digital engineering concepts
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience supporting Air Force, Space Force, Intelligence Community, cyber, ISR, or defense modernization initiatives
- Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures, RMF, NIST cybersecurity standards, and secure systems engineering practices
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled systems, data analytics platforms, or digital transformation initiatives
- Relevant certifications such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, TOGAF, Security+, SAFe Agilist, INCOSE CSEP/ESEP
- Experience supporting proposal efforts, technical capture management, or business development initiatives
