About The Position

Insight Xcite is seeking a Systems Architect in Reston, Virginia, to support enterprise architecture, requirements analysis, technical design, integration, and collaboration across engineering and mission teams. The level will be aligned to candidate experience and customer requirements. This is an onsite position, and applicants must be willing and able to work in person at the designated customer location. Insight Xcite is a mission-focused consulting firm supporting critical government programs through data-driven engineering, technology, cybersecurity, analytics, and operational expertise. Requirements

  • Experience designing enterprise or mission systems across the full systems-development lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of requirements analysis, interfaces, integration, scalability, resilience, and security.
  • Ability to communicate complex designs to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience producing architecture artifacts and guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Applicants must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) to be considered for employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community or other government customers.
  • Experience with cloud architecture, DevSecOps, data platforms, or zero-trust environments.
  • Relevant architecture, cloud, or systems-engineering certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain secure enterprise system architectures, technical roadmaps, and design standards.
  • Translate mission and business requirements into scalable system designs and interface specifications.
  • Lead architecture reviews, trade studies, and technical risk assessments.
  • Coordinate integration across infrastructure, software, cloud, data, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Produce architecture diagrams, decision records, implementation guidance, and other technical documentation.
