We’re seeking a senior‑level Systems Architect to lead the design of complex, multi‑component systems and ensure they meet rigorous technical, integration, and performance requirements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
  • 5+ years serving as lead architect for complex solutions spanning hardware, software, and external system integrations.
  • Strong requirements engineering background.
  • Authored and managed 15+ sets of functional and non-functional system requirements with full traceability using tools such as DOORS or Jama.
  • Developed and maintained 10+ Interface Control Documents (ICDs) covering protocols, data contracts, timing, and error handling.
  • Led 5+ cross-team interface adjudications to resolution.
  • Led 3+ full verification and validation cycles, including system integration testing, acceptance testing, regression strategy, and documented defect metrics.
  • Applied formal architecture methods (MBSE/SysML, N2 diagrams, state models, trade studies) on at least two major programs.
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent education.
  • Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance.
  • US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of complex, multi-component systems.
  • Ensure systems meet rigorous technical, integration, and performance requirements.
  • Author and manage system requirements with full traceability.
  • Develop and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) covering protocols, data contracts, timing, and error handling.
  • Lead cross-team interface adjudications to resolution.
  • Lead full verification and validation cycles, including system integration testing, acceptance testing, and regression strategy.
  • Document defect metrics.
  • Apply formal architecture methods (MBSE/SysML, N2 diagrams, state models, trade studies) on major programs.
  • Deliver measurable improvements such as reduced integration rework or shortened integration timelines.
