Experience in cloud strategy and hybrid environments is key, with AWS expertise highly valued—an AWS Solutions Architect certification is preferred. Job Summary: Develops an overall view of the organization's IT technology and operations in relation to its IT strategy. Oversees multiple architecture domains like application, data, security and technology and ensures they align with the organization's standards. Works with systems architects to create roadmaps for all domains, determine operational gaps and develops methods for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
  • Seven years' experience
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, maintains and enforces technology standards and processes for multiple IT domains.
  • Review goals, processes and resource expenditures and recommends what level of resources are needed to support the organization's mission and strategy.
  • Reviews existing process and proposes process improvements to help alignment of organizational strategies with the IT teams.
  • Works with systems architects to create road maps for all domains, determines operational gaps and develops methods for improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
