About The Position
The Systems & Applications Engineer provides customer applications support for NXP ARM-based microcontrollers. The role develops C/C++ code for embedded systems and creates software examples for peripherals. It tests embedded peripherals and debugs chips, using IDE tools, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and other test instruments. Work includes testing chip signals, rise times, timing, and clocks; managing source code; recording test results; and presenting technical material while interacting with customers.
Requirements
- Experience with embedded processors and ARM processors.
- C and C++ code development experience for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and IDEs such as Keil, IAR, and MCUXpresso.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with customers.
- Bachelor's degree required; degree completed within the past two years.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
