About The Position

You will be the Systems and Software Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Systems and Software Quality Engineering processes aligned with AS9100, program, and customer requirements. As the Systems and Software Quality Engineer you will be responsible for shaping and executing quality practices that ensure our software products meet the highest standards of reliability and compliance.

Requirements

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent combined experience/education
Experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies
Experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps) as an active team member/participant
Experienced in Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans and facilitating RCCA events
Ability to conduct and document process audits and evaluations.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles
Knowledge of with AS9100, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and Standards
Experience and/or prior background with logistics information systems programs or large scale transactional software systems
Experienced communicator (written & verbal)
Ability to obtain a secret clearance, after hire

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and apply quality principles to software and software‑based systems.
Design and implement software development and maintenance processes.
Define audit strategies to ensure compliance with systems/software processes.
Design, specify, and conduct test methods for inspection, verification, and validation.
Evaluate and analyze software quality systems to identify and correct deficiencies.
