About The Position

Seeking a skilled IT Systems Designer and Developer responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of IT systems. This role involves creating design and functional specifications, managing project deliverables, and providing support for system implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have experience in selecting appropriate C.A.S.E. tools for system and software development, as well as synthesizing information related to technology processes or systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of systems analysis/programming experience.
Experience in minicomputer or client/server environments.
Knowledge of multiple technical environments and specific business areas.
Proficiency in developing systems solutions through analysis and research.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team on complex projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop IT systems, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Create detailed design and functional specifications for new systems.
Produce deliverables for assigned projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Provide post-implementation support and execute system enhancements as needed.
Select and utilize appropriate C.A.S.E. tools for system and software development.
Gather, compile, and synthesize information regarding technology processes or systems.
Contribute to the implementation and support of resource planning, sales automation, marketing, financial, and distribution systems.
Participate as a project team member or project lead on small to large, complex projects.
Mentor and coach junior technical staff.
