About The Position

This role supports a major Enterprise Information Management (EIM) initiative for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). The Senior Systems Analyst III will play a critical part in designing and managing enterprise master data solutions that improve identity resolution, data quality, analytics, and AI-driven decision making across multiple Health and Human Services programs. This is an opportunity to make a statewide impact by working on enterprise data integration, Master Data Management, and emerging AI technologies.

Requirements

12+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
10+ years gathering business requirements and translating complex identity resolution needs into technical solutions.
10+ years working with Informatica Master Data Management (MDM).
8+ years of advanced SQL experience for data profiling, extraction, analysis, and manipulation.
8+ years explaining technical concepts to business users and executive leadership.
8+ years collaborating with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Experience in Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse environments.
Experience with Healthcare or Health and Human Services data environments.
Experience with Enterprise Data Governance.
Experience with Data Quality initiatives.
Experience acting as the primary MDM resource for enterprise analytics projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Informatica technologies.
Analyze, profile, and integrate complex client and provider data from multiple enterprise systems.
Design and support identity resolution strategies across healthcare applications.
Write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, validation, and analysis.
Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Collaborate with business users, performance analysts, developers, architects, and executive leadership.
Explain complex technical concepts and data limitations to non-technical stakeholders.
Develop reports and visualizations supporting enterprise analytics initiatives.
Troubleshoot complex data identity and integration issues.
Promote enterprise data quality and governance best practices.
Develop AI prompts and reusable query templates to improve data retrieval and analytics.
Validate AI-generated outputs and identify potential inaccuracies or hallucinations.
Create documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources that improve data literacy across the organization.
