About The Position

The main purpose of this job is to provide critical support on a wide variety of applications and to provide essential data analysis and reports that are crucial to making smart business decisions. This role serves as a business and systems resource, implementing technical solutions to business needs. The analyst will utilize systems to generate reports, monitor systems and databases for functionality and availability, troubleshoot, and respond to user inquiries. They will also research, analyze, assist with the design, testing, and implementation of applications, sometimes working in cooperation with internal departments and vendors. Data collection and system information updates via manual input or upload are also key functions. The role involves reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs, documenting business and systems requirements, defining scope and objectives, translating requirements into specifications, and formulating systems to reflect business unit strategies. Additionally, the analyst will provide audit support, consultation, and recommendations to business teams in resolving technical problems. The position also contributes insights that influence enterprise-level funding and collateral strategy beyond day-to-day system support, provides support to the Public Entity Collateralization team, and acts as a liaison between Corporate Finance, product, operations, and deposit partners to ensure liquidity and collateral strategies are executable.

Requirements

Intermediate computer skills, specifically with SQL, SharePoint, Excel, and Business Objects
Knowledge of finance and fixed income accounting commonly used concepts and best practices
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
3+ years financial services experience required
2+ years systems experience required
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

FIS InTrader experience a plus
Series 52, 7, 63, and SIE desired, or able to obtain within specified time frame if requested

Responsibilities

Provide reliable analysis used in decision-making around funding stability, pricing, and balance sheet optimization
Contribute insights that influence enterprise-level funding and collateral strategy beyond day-to-day system support
Provide support to the Public Entity Collateralization team
Act as liaison between Corporate Finance, product, operations, and deposit partners to ensure liquidity and collateral strategies are executable
