About The Position

The Systems Analyst role involves assisting in the administration of information systems to support a complex agency, both financially and programmatically. This position requires the ability to develop and teach curriculum on information systems topics to staff with varying levels of computer competence. The role also involves transforming requirements through analysis, support, and interaction with clinical and business partners to develop strategies, create specifications, develop forms, datastores, and reports, and implement solutions. The Systems Analyst will also perform end-user management functions and maintain compliance with HIPAA Security Regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in computer related field required.
  • 5 years of IT experience preferred.
  • If lacking a Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s/Technical school degree in computer related field and eight (8) years of IT experience required.
  • Ability to assist in the administration of information systems to support a complex agency, both financially and programmatically.
  • Ability to develop and teach curriculum of information systems topics to staff of varying levels of competence with computers and related applications.
  • Must have physical dexterity in order to move and install various computer equipment.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to adjust hours to job requirements.
  • Must have acceptable PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance and FBI clearance.
  • Ability to identify with the agency Mission Statement and support the agency’s Core Values.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including servers, routers, firewalls, wireless access points.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware including laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Application/System Administration: Google Workspace, Avast, Windows 20XX Server Administration, Zix Encryption/Threat Protection, Adobe Sign.
  • Demonstrated competency with desktop/laptop operating systems, including current Microsoft operating system.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools with emphasis on Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain compliance with HIPAA Security Regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for competency in enterprise applications in a healthcare environment including clinical, EMR, financial and support software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of information systems to support a complex agency, both financially and programmatically.
  • Develop and teach curriculum of information systems topics to staff of varying levels of competence with computers and related applications.
  • Transform requirements through analysis, support and interaction with the clinical and business partners that leads to developing strategies, specification creation, form, datastore and report development, system testing and implementation of solutions.
  • Perform various end user management functions as required by the software systems.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA Security Regulations.
  • Work under the direction of the V.P. of I.S. in the analysis, evaluation, implementation and modifications of current and proposed systems, applications and related devices.
  • Configure and administer Google Workspace.
  • Manage Mobile Device Management solutions for tablets and mobile phones.
  • Utilize the ticketing system.
  • Manage Hosted RingCentral phone system.
  • Work under the direction of the V.P. of I.S. in the creation of specification documents for development projects for in-house and vendor projects, actively design forms, datastores and reports as needed.
  • Work with the Network Administrator to assist in maintaining a network infrastructure that is available at least 99.5% of the time.
  • Work with the Network Administrator in maintaining on-site and hosted telephone solutions.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Utilize the support ticketing application to thoroughly document efforts, monitor issues and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
